The Problem With Using "User"
As a user, stop calling me a user. Referring to your audience as users...dehumanizing or just optimizing? In this episode, I share my thoughts on the term "user" and how it's a lazy term that doesn't help us solve problems for people. Words matter, and it's too easy to refer to a fictitious user instead of thinking about actual people.
